The Crafton Hills College Fire Academy and the Fire Tech Program proudly present the 4th Annual Women in the Fire Service Seminar! This is a great opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in the Fire Service. The seminar will feature female mentors from all over Southern California sharing their success stories and speaking about job opportunities available in the Fire Service. These opportunities include: firefighter, fire prevention officer, dispatcher, fire investigator, and more! Be prepared to listen and ask questions during our Q & A portion of the event. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in training exercises and work with fire equipment and tools. A working lunch will be provided. The event will conclude between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. *Those unsure about physical activity may also choose to observe during our “break-out” sessions. This event will take place at Crafton Hills College, Lot I in the Public Safety and Allied Health Building, Room 201. Young women must be at least 14 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must fill out a parent/guardian consent form. The consent form will be emailed to you the week prior to the event. This is a free event, but you must register on Eventbrite by Monday, April 22nd. If you are unable to attend the event after registering or have any questions, please contact Andrew Gebara at firstname.lastname@example.org or (909)389-3408.
