The Clark Park Farmers Market is returning on Tuesday evenings beginning Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018. The market is undergoing a reboot as it moves from Saturday mornings to Tuesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A public pool-turned-community garden, Clark Park Garden hosts a weekly urban neighborhood market featuring local produce, eggs, honey, coffee, food trucks, live music, and handmade goods from area artisans, many of whom live minutes from the market. The market, conveniently located at Roosevelt and Broadway, has plenty of parking for cars and bicycles and is situated along the Venus Orbit route. More than a just a farmers market, Clark Park Farmers Market is a gathering place for neighbors and is also dog friendly. The market features multiple food trucks each week to satisfy those looking for dinner options. There will be lawn games, tables and chairs, and plenty of opportunity to hang out and meet local Tempe neighbors. Market proceeds benefit community gardens operated by the Clark Park neighborhood and its nonprofit partner, Tempe Community Action Agency.
