Early Childhood Education Conference hosted by Palm Valley School
The Palm Valley School Early Childhood Education Conference embraces early learning and care from birth to age 5. This full day of classes has two tracks, one for parents and one for educators. Seminars will be hosted by childhood professionals who work with infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten-aged children. We are pleased to host our special guest from Orcas Island, Washington, Helen Huber. She is a former school librarian, classroom teacher, remedial reading instructor, literacy consultant, and lifelong reader. She is the co-founder of GoReaderGo.com, a free child-focused literacy website. She is a sought after presenter and consultant for schools and classrooms of all ages, and delights in sharing her passion for raising and engaging young readers. This year's topics include Early Childhood Literacy, Numeracy, and Music Methods; Positive Parenting tips; Toilet Training; and Project Based Learning for Preschool and Kindergarten aged children.
