2023 Council Reorganization

The City of El Centro invites the public to attend its Reorganization meeting at 6 p.m. December 7, 2023, at the City’s Council Chambers and Courtyard at 1275 W. Main Street.
The event will start with a regular meeting to acknowledge the accomplishments of outgoing Mayor Martha Cardenas-Singh. Council will then elect a new Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem, expected to be Sylvia Marroquin and Edgard Garcia, respectively.
A reception will immediately follow at the City Hall’s Courtyard for incoming Mayor Sylvia Marroquin. Food and drinks will be available.
