Alzheimer’s Association Empowered Caregiver Series

Two date series of Alzheimer’s Association presentations geared towards FAMILY caregivers of those with dementia/Alzheimer’s and for healthcare professionals caring for this population.  Oct 11, Saturday and Oct 25, 2025 Saturday.  Check in is 09a; Presentations are 0930a – noon.  At AWC/NAU campus, NAU Academic Complex bldg, rm 282.  REGISTRATION is FREE.  Refreshments provided.   Use QR code on each flyer date or call 1-800-272-3900 to register.   Oct 11 topic is Building Foundations of Caregiving.  Oct 25 topic is Communicating Effectively and Responding to Behaviors.  There will be volunteers each date at 0845a to help direct from AWC/NAU campus parking lots to NAU bldg.   Register soon to secure a seat!  See attached flyers!  Come learn about the alarming statistics of dementia/Alzheimer’s and more information and resources/support for caregivers!
