Get ready to witness a parade of stunningly dressed participants showcasing their finest Day of the Dead attire. This in-person event will be held at Arizona Western College – 2020 South Avenue 8 East, Yuma, AZ, USA. Immerse yourself in the colorful atmosphere and enjoy the lively music, delicious food, and exciting activities. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the incredible costumes and unforgettable moments. Whether you choose to participate or simply admire the creativity, this event promises to be a magnificent experience for all!

PRIZES: First Place – $300, Second Place – $200, Third Plcae – $100

JUDGING CRITERIA

1. MAKUP: Complex, Detail, Colorful, Black/white only, etc.
2. CREATIVITY: Hat (feathers, flowers, etc), No Hat (decorations), Other accessories
3. ORIGINALITY: Dress (elegant, antique), Skirt (new version), males use 3-piece suit, Variety in materials, traditional, nontraditional, classic, modern…
4. ELEGANCE & POSE: Participant embraces the character and adds grace and attitude to his/her presentation.
