Christmas Tree Lighting and Street Fair

The City of El Centro extends a warm invitation to the entire community to celebrate its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on December 1, 2023, at Fire Station No. 3, 1910 N. Waterman Avenue.
The event was moved from the El Centro Police Department to Fire Station No. 3. This festive occasion is open to the public and promises an evening filled with joy and holiday spirit.
This year’s celebration will embrace a delightful Gingerbread House theme, transforming Fire Station No. 3 into a winter wonderland of festive delights. Families and friends are invited to join the merriment, which starts the holiday season with many exciting activities. There will be live performances, a decorated Christmas tree, adult beverages, fun arts and crafts for the kids, and a special visit from Santa!
“The holiday season is a time for coming together, and our Christmas Tree Lighting event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to share in the joy of the season,” said City of El Centro Mayor Martha Cardenas-Singh. “Let us embrace the spirit of unity, love, and goodwill as we gather around the beautifully decorated Christmas tree and create cherished memories with family and friends.”
