Slam Fest 2025

The City of El Centro will host the SLAM Event, a celebration of skateboarding, BMX, lawn games, art and music, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1 to 5 p.m.

The family-friendly event will feature live performances by DJ Jeti and DJ J. Steezy, who will provide an energetic soundtrack throughout the day. The free Kids Zone will include lawn games, a jumper obstacle course, arts and crafts, face painting, and interactive art activities.

Local artists Mossy Illustrations, Painted Soul, and Inner Soul Alignment will showcase their work, adding a creative flair to the festivities. Food vendors Kona Ice and Revolución Asada will also be on site offering refreshments for attendees.

Competitors are required to bring their own equipment, including bicycles, skateboards, and protective gear.

El Centro Bark Park will be incorporated into the event area on Saturday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will be closed to off-leash activity. Dogs are welcome throughout the event but must remain on a leash at all times.

Additional parking will be available at the Conrad Harrison Youth Center, 750 Park Ave., and at the El Centro Aquatic Center, 540 Park Ave.
