YUMA MILITARY APPRECIAITON DAY

Join us in celebrating and honoring the brave men and women who serve and have served in our armed forces at Yuma Military Appreciation Day! This annual event is held in Downtown Yuma and is dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and dedication of military personnel, veterans, and their families.
Enjoy a day full of activities including opening ceremony with representatives from MCAS Yuma, Yuma Proving Ground and Yuma’s own Mayor Doug Nicholls. Military vehicles and displays by MCAS Yuma, Yuma Proving Ground, and the Yuma Police Department will be present. This will include K-9 handlers, howitzer, military police display, McGruff crime dog, active duty crash rescue fire fighting marines, military fire truck, police vehicles and more.
Whether you’re a local resident or visiting Yuma, this event is a perfect opportunity to say “thank you” to our military heroes and their families. This is a free event open to the public. Come out for a day of fun, reflection, and appreciation!
