To coordinate\, please contact Daniella Rodiles (drodiles2@sdsu.edu). \n \nWHAT: SDSU Imperial Valley will open its newest art exhibition\, “Land of Milk & Honey\,” on Friday\, Oct. 13 with a special opening reception\, which is also open to the public. The exhibition\, which runs from Oct. 13 through Dec. 12\, is brought by Luis Hernandez\, co-founder of MexiCali Biennial and director of the university’s Steppling Art Gallery.\n\nMexiCali Biennial is a contemporary visual arts organization that works to provide a platform for local underrepresented and contemporary artists. The exhibition will showcase artwork from local and regional artists inspired by the region’s agriculture and foodways. The participating artists draw inspiration from the Latinx\, migrant community. DESCRIPTION:Arizona Western College students and alumni are invited to explore future possibilities and discover what higher education options and job opportunities are available during the Yuma Transfer and Career Expo. \nThe expo will be held on Wednesday\, October 18\, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 3C Breezeway of the AWC Yuma Campus\, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.
