A campus map can be found here. \nThis event will provide students\, alumni\, and the general public interested in healthcare careers including Nursing\, Certified Nursing Assistant\, Medical Assistant\, Radiologic Technology\, Allied Health\, and other related fields with career information\, part-time or full-time employment openings\, internships\, and volunteer opportunities.AWC will showcase the certificates and associate degrees that are available\, and university representatives within relevant fields will also provide students with transfer information and pathways to attain their baccalaureate degree.“Arizona Western College is excited to be hosting the Healthcare Job Fair for a second year with this year’s fair being open to our community to attend\,” said Dr. Joann Chang\, AWC Dean of Healthcare Programs. “As the college of the community\, we recognize the importance of connecting our community to the healthcare jobs that are available and the educational programs that can support these positions.  AWC is making strides to provide the training\, certificates\, and degrees that can launch a healthcare career\, but also expanding our partnerships with our university partners to provide a pathway to a baccalaureate degree locally in Yuma. DESCRIPTION:Join Vitalant with NEWS11\, ABC5 and Telemundo 3 to build Yuma’s blood supply during the lowest week of the year for donations.  Yuma Holiday Heroes blood donors will help save Arizona kids like 7-year-old Braden\, who was diagnosed last year with leukemia.  During his 138-day stay in the hospital\, he underwent chemotherapy\, required more than 30 blood transfusions and was declared cancer free one year ago on Thanksgiving Day.  Braden and his family are so thankful for all the heroes who donated blood and played a vital part in helping him to beat leukemia. \n  \nFriday – Sunday\, Dec. 28 – 30\, 2023\nYuma Palms\nBloodmobile Near Farmer’s Market\n1375 S. Yuma Palms Pkwy. \n  \nThursday\, Dec. 28\, 2 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  \nFriday\, Dec. 29\, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  \nSaturday\, Dec. 30\, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. \nIn appreciation for giving blood during the holiday week\, all donors will be thanked with a voucher for a complimentary Pizza Hut medium pizza\, a one-day admission to the Arizona Renaissance Festival and a Vitalant long-sleeved T-shirt (size redeemable by email)!
