DESCRIPTION:Aquatic Center to host 4th Annual Floating Pumpkin Patch \nJoin the crew and pick your pumpkin at the City of El Centro Aquatic Center’s 4th Annual Floating Pumpkin Patch on October 28\, 2023\, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. \nWe invite you and your families to this extraordinary event\, as the City of El Centro is the only city in the Imperial County that offers such a unique and fun experience for all! \n“We invite the whole family to be a part of one of our most unique events in the Imperial Valley\,” said City of El Centro Mayor Martha Cardenas-Singh. “From swimming to picking your own pumpkin and then decorating while enjoying great food vendors\, this event has it all.” \nThe Floating Pumpkin Patch is a favorite amongst the Aquatic staff\, as many do not know that pumpkins float. This event is free to all\, where swimmers can pick their favorite pumpkin amongst the 400 available choices. Pumpkin decorating stations and kits will be available on-site to make your pumpkin come to life. There is a limit of one pumpkin per person.  The Aqua Track and Kids Run inflatable courses will be up and ready for everyone’s enjoyment. \nCabanas will be free for this event and available on a first-come\, first-serve basis. DESCRIPTION:The Yuma Police Department\, with help from the Yuma County Fair Inc. and the City of Yuma\, is pleased to announce the “Scary & Safe Trick or Treat” at the Yuma County Fairgrounds on Halloween night from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This is a tradition we have renewed for the benefit of the children of Yuma and hope to continue it for many years to come. \n Local\, state\, tribal and federal public safety agencies\, along with businesses and local non-profit organizations\, will come together at the Yuma County Fairgrounds to give away “tricks or treats”. \n There will be plenty of entertainment available to help occupy the little ones while you wait in line. We will have stilt walkers\, dancers\, a face painter\, static display vehicles\, and the movie Nightmare Before Christmas will be playing on a big screen. \n\nWhen: Tuesday\, October 31 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm\nWhere: Yuma County Fairgrounds\n$1 admission fee per person\, which will benefit the Arizona Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics\nWe will have the $5.00 per person fast pass set up again this year.\nThere will be an ATM on site for those who need cash.\n\nAll proceeds will be donated to the Arizona Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

They forcefully introduced phrases like Matando Güeros\, La Migra\, Marijuana y Brujerizmo into the lexicon of extreme subcultures from hardcore punk to death metal.
