DESCRIPTION:The Arizona Western College Visual and Performing Arts Department is teaming up to present an evening of music and theater for the community to enjoy during their annual fundraising event. \nThe Radio Active Players will present Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol\, adapted for the AWC stage by Professor of Theatre Ann Wilkinson and English faculty member Jonathan Close. The event will also include choir and band performances under the direction of Professor of Choral and Vocal Music Deltrina D. Grimes and Professor of Instrumental Music Dr. Louis Pollard. \n“Guests will have an opportunity to see and hear the progress that our students are achieving. They will also have an opportunity to hear directly from our scholarship recipients\,” said Deltrina D. Grimes.The shows will be held at 7:00pm on Saturday\, Dec. 2\, and at 2:00pm on Sunday\, Dec. 3\, at the AWC Theatre\, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. \nTicket prices are $5 for AWC students\, $20 for individuals\, and $30 for couples. Tickets may be purchased at the AWC Foundation website foundation.azwestern.edu under the “Shop” tab. Attendees can also purchase tickets at the door 30 minutes prior to showtime.
