SDSU Imperial Valley Associated Students Hosts Second Annual 5K Color Run

WHAT: San Diego State University (SDSU) Imperial Valley Associated Students (A.S.) is holding its second annual 5K Color Run fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024. All proceeds from the event will go toward student-focused initiatives, such as study abroad programs and annual campus life events. This event is open to the public.
Those interested in attending, can register prior to the event online.  
SDSU Imperial Valley A.S., the student government body for both SDSU Imperial Valley’s Calexico and Brawley campus, advocates for student rights, funds campus events and offers scholarship and employment opportunities.
WHEN: Saturday Feb. 10, 2024 at 8 a.m.
WHERE: 720 Heber Ave. Calexico, Calif. 92231.  
 
PARKING: Parking lot is located off East Sherman Avenue. Additional public parking can be found on surrounding streets.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Daddy Daughter Dance is back!It’s time for fathers and daughters to dance their way through the extraordinary world of Alice in Wonderland.

Date: Saturday, 24th of February

$25 per couple

$10 for each additional daughter

ACP Enrollment Event

Southern Border Broadband Consortium (SBBC) will host an enrollment event in Imperial County on Friday, November 17th, as part of a statewide initiative to promote the Affordable Connectivity Program’s (ACP) discounted high-speed home internet option.

SBBC, IVBRC and IVEDC will open its doors to the community, offering in-person enrollment assistance to eligible households. The event will be held at the Imperial Valley Business Resource Center from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, providing residents with the opportunity to learn more about the program and sign up for discounted high-speed home internet service. The Affordable Connectivity Program is designed to make high-speed internet more accessible for families in need. SBBC is committed to fostering digital inclusion and ensuring that every household can access high-quality affordable internet.
