The Woman’s Club of Holtville is sponsoring this 60+ year community event and is inviting you to attend. The Contest is the kick off event for the 2025 Carrot Festival activities including the parade on February 8th.
The competition is comprised of three divisions as follows:
Wednesday, 1/29 Little Chefs (Grades K – 5th) Division – Categories – Main Dish, Side Dish, Desserts
Thursday, 1/30 Adult Chefs Division – Categories – Main Dish, Side Dish, Desserts

Southern Border Broadband Consortium (SBBC) will host an enrollment event in Imperial County on Friday, November 17th, as part of a statewide initiative to promote the Affordable Connectivity Program’s (ACP) discounted high-speed home internet option.
SBBC, IVBRC and IVEDC will open its doors to the community, offering in-person enrollment assistance to eligible households. The event will be held at the Imperial Valley Business Resource Center from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, providing residents with the opportunity to learn more about the program and sign up for discounted high-speed home internet service. The Affordable Connectivity Program is designed to make high-speed internet more accessible for families in need. SBBC is committed to fostering digital inclusion and ensuring that every household can access high-quality affordable internet.
