Blues, Brews and BBQ featuring the 13th Annual Tri-Tip Cook-Off
Join us for the City of Imperial’s last downtown event of the season, Blues, Brews & BBQ on March 22, 2025 from 5-9 PM. Enjoy an evening of live entertainment, fun family features, food and shopping from our local vendors, and of course our Tri-Tip Competition! We have 8 fierce competitors ready to prove they deserve the Grand Champion title! Come support our competitors and vote for your favorite team!
Tri-Tip Cook-Off Competition Hours: 4-9 PM (Winners will be announced at the Main Stage at 7:45 PM)

ACP Enrollment Event
Southern Border Broadband Consortium (SBBC) will host an enrollment event in Imperial County on Friday, November 17th, as part of a statewide initiative to promote the Affordable Connectivity Program’s (ACP) discounted high-speed home internet option.
SBBC, IVBRC and IVEDC will open its doors to the community, offering in-person enrollment assistance to eligible households. The event will be held at the Imperial Valley Business Resource Center from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, providing residents with the opportunity to learn more about the program and sign up for discounted high-speed home internet service. The Affordable Connectivity Program is designed to make high-speed internet more accessible for families in need. SBBC is committed to fostering digital inclusion and ensuring that every household can access high-quality affordable internet.
