Peter and the Wolf

AWC Community Band to perform with Ballet Yuma  Peter and the Wolf ballet to be presented alongside live music

The community is invited to an upcoming joint performance of “Peter and the Wolf” by the Arizona Western College Community Band and Ballet Yuma.

As part of the AWC Community Band’s fall concert, students will be performing musical compositions by Sergei Prokofiev alongside a choreographed ballet by Ballet Yuma. The “Peter and the Wolf” ballet has been performed at schools across Yuma County.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the North Schoening Center on the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. The event is free and open to the public.

Save the date for Yuma Rocks, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 7:00pm.
Five bands. One night.
Yuma Art Center is excited to present a concert in the Historic Yuma Theatre to celebrate the community’s outstanding music scene! To participate, send in a video or audio file of your best content, and scan the QR code to fill in the application. Five bands will be selected to perform in a live concert.
Deadline for submissions is Friday, August 11, 2023.
