Little Shop of Horrors
San Luis High School Drama and Stagecraft will put on their spring show titled “Little Shop of Horrors” from November 15-17, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the San Luis High School Performing Arts Center.
“The dedicated students of San Luis Drama Club have poured their hearts and souls into bringing this iconic and beloved musical to life,” SLHS Drama Director Timothy Ames said. “This eagerly anticipated performance is set to captivate audiences with its blend of dark humor, catchy tunes, and outstanding talent from the school’s budding actors.”
The play is a musical comedy that combines elements of horror, science fiction, and dark humor. The musical, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics and book by Howard Ashman, is based on the 1960 film of the same name directed by Roger Corman.
Ames added: “This is going to be a smash hit and a show the community will be talking about for many years to come! don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of this amazing production!”
Tickets are $7 at the door.

Veteran’s Day Fall Fiesta
Join us in celebrating our local community and brave veterans, who have selflessly served our nation at the “Veterans Day Fall Fiesta” hosted by Yuma Dispensary on November 11, 2023 from 1-5 P.M.

Christmas Extravaganza Tunnel of Lights
Come have holiday fun with us at both our campuses – Yuma and San Luis, AZ.
We will be hosting our 14th and 2nd Annual Christmas Extravaganza Tunnel of Lights!
This will kick off on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m.
The first night of the event Harvest Preparatory Academy staff will be presenting traditional Holiday customs from around the world.
The event will conclude on December 23rd, 2023.
Admission is 3 canned food items per vehicle, and other donations will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds and food collected will be directed to our Operation Eggnog, which is to raise funds and food for our low-income families.

The City of San Luis Economic Development Department is collaborating with Small Business Development Center at Arizona Western College to bring our small businesses another great training!
