The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Arizona Western College, in collaboration with the City of Somerton, will host “How to Start a Business in Somerton, AZ,” a no-cost workshop designed to guide aspiring entrepreneurs through the steps of starting a business.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Arizona Western College Somerton Center, 1011 N Somerton Avenue, Somerton, AZ 85350.

Participants will learn key startup essentials, including business planning, market research, the eight steps to starting a business, choosing a business structure, selecting a location, securing funding, and understanding licensing and permit requirements. Both in-person and virtual attendance options will be available.
