She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher\, Miss Honey. During her first term at school\, the two forge a bond as Miss Honey begins to recognize and appreciate Matilda’s extraordinary personality. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing\, however – the school’s mean headmistress\, Miss Trunchbull\, hates children and just loves to punish those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts\, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace! (Music Theatre International). ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).\nCOST: $15\nINFO: For more information\, content warnings\, & tickets\, visit yctaz.org/matilda or email contact@yctaz.org.

SUMMARY:Yuma Community Theater Present Cabaret
DESCRIPTION:In a Berlin nightclub\, as the 1920’s draw to a close\, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary\, Cabaret explores the dark\, heady\, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Flashing/strobe lights and fog are used in this production and may potentially trigger those with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised. \nTICKET PRICES (+ticketing fees): Student/Youth: $15\, General Admission: $25\, VIP Tables: $100 \nAnd now\, Meine Damen und Herren\, Mesdames et Messieurs\, Ladies and gentlemen\, welcome to the Kit Kat Klub\, where the fun never stops and neither do the surprises!
